Unfortunately their second LP "Bruiseology" is WAY out of print and never was released on CD. All you can find from them is their first one "Wasn't Tomorrow Wonderful?" The various Greatest Hits and the Live King Biscuit CD. Well, I have a nice clean set of MP3s of the entire Bruiseology LP and am too happy to share with anyone who wants them. I think it's better than their first one and has my all time fave song "Make The Weather". Let me know and I'll post it....or not.

The Waitresses are a band I liked but was never familiar with at all. The only songs I knew were I Know What Boys Like, Christmas Wrapping and Square Pegs. I remember seeing their MTV video in the early 80's and she was standing there singing and smoking and wearing a mini-skirt and looking like a bad girl and therefore looking appealing and making me crave her. Early MTV, those were the days.

I like it! It's a strong album. It's got a very distinct early 80's vibe which is pretty cool and I really like the way Patty sings. It's a shame she died so young

I have a bootleg addiction so I searched around for Waitresses shows and found an '82 FM broadcast on a torrent site. I looked it up and it's a different show than the King Biscuit CD which was 2-13-82 in Roslyn NY. This show is a couple weeks later at the Bottom Line in NYC on 3-2-82. I downloaded it and it's got pretty good sound. If anyone wants to download it, it's located over at www.dimeadozen.org.
